Nowadays there are a lot of companys which use social networks like a way to promote their
products. But they have discovered that this way has some dangers because networks can
use their publicity to damage their image.
One example is the case of Virgin (an airline company) which had a decreased in its sells
because a mistake in one of their flies was described in a Facebook's forum.
Another problem that the companies can find is if their employees can give their opinion about
the services of the company in this kind of forums.
To sum up, the spokesmen for airline companies like BA (which also has been problems
with social networks) urge about the "online watering holes" to prevent spot problems.
